The Highway 61 Concert Series brings people together every month to enjoy music and community. Our concerts feature local, national, and international musicians, with a focus on singer-songwriters in the roots tradition.

The series draws inspiration from venues renowned for their intimate music experiences: Bluebird Cafe, Gibson Community Music Hall, and Bend Theater. Similarly, the Grantland Theater – an underappreciated gem in the Driftless – brings you up close with our musicians for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Join us on the second Wednesday every month for a new show. Doors open at 6 p.m., music starts at 6:30. Hosted by WAMI Award-winner Sam Ness.

There’s a $15 (cash only) door charge to support the musicians. Adult beverages and movie concessions are available for purchase during the shows (also cash only).

Come early to grab a bite to eat on the Square in Lancaster. Or, afterward, join fellow concert-goers for a nightcap at a local pub.
